Intent

At Charlotte Nursery and Infant School our aim is that pupils are physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for an active and healthy lifestyle, with lifelong participation in physical activity and  sport.  

Our Aim is to achieve self-sustaining improvement and development in the quality of PE and physical activity at Charlotte Nursery and Infant School.

Indicators of this would include:

• The engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity kick-starting healthy active lifestyles.
• The profile of PE and physical activity being raised across our school.
• Increase in confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE, sport and physical activity.
• Broader experience of a range of sports and activities offered to all pupils.
